Ok, this chocolate stuff is pretty good. They sat me down on this plastic tarp thing, I tried to crawl off a couple of times, but then I forgot about everything else besides this chocolate ambrosia!!! Yum!!!!

Ok! We're finally here - my big day! Everyone dressed up in flower shirts and wore flowers around their necks to celebrate my Hawaiian beginnings. I had a pretty pink flower dress on, but then Momma changed me into my swim suit for some strange reason...

On Saturday, the day before the most important day of the year, we went to the NC Zoo and saw Africa! Poppa posted more animal pictures on flikr, so check those out if you want (if you click on this picture it will take you there). I had fun seeing all the cool animals and can't wait to go back to see the rest of the zoo.

Tonight I got to meet Uncle Aaron's big sis, Angela Hill! She came up to visit with us all and go out for yummy Korean BBQ. You'll notice me and cuz Niels are wearing our fashionable new hats that Momma found us, and Angela so that we can be as cool as Angela in her stylin' hat.

This morning we went down to Fisherman's Wharf to look at the sea lions and the fishies at the aquarium. I had a fantastic time and can't wait til my big zoo trip next weekend!

Last night we all went over the bridge to hang out with Momma's friend, Leah, and her family for a great BBQ!

Story time with Megan! Not only did I get to play with everyone's toys at Nikki and John and Max's house, but then everyone gave me this giant bag full of toys and books to take home with me! Wow! (which by the way, is my new expression - "oh wow!" which I like to say all the time now, usually followed by "uh oh").

The other day we went over to Berkeley to hang out with momma's college friends, Nikki and Donna and their kids! It was so much fun! We ate yummy pizza and I got to play with everyone's toys! Max was so nice to share his trains with me, I guess he's just getting good practice in for his baby brother, Sam, who will be arriving very soon!

Here I am at PPQ Dungeoness Island, a crab-shack Vietnamese restaurant. I didn't like having to stay in my high-chair through dinner, but I had so much fun meeting my cousin Ruby! She played games with me, and entertained me through the whole dinner! She's AWESOME! and she gave me such a cool ball toy to play with too. I hear they are going to my old stomping grounds - Hawaii, for a vacation. That sounds like fun! Maybe my momma and daddy will take me back there some time?

Sorry it's taken me so long to post since getting to the west coast! We've been hanging out with Auntie Tara and Uncle Spence for the past couple of days and even took Grandma and Grandpa Matus along for the ride! They just left, but we had a great time seeing the sites of San Fran. But the real reason we're here is for me to try to poke this little cousin of mine, Niels! He's SO cute, but he's not all that interesting - he just cries, eats, and sleeps. I can't wait til he's a little bit older so I can steal all his toys!

On Thursday, July 31st we lost our beloved grandmother, Louise Killebrew. She lived a long full life and will be greatly missed.

So we went up to Pennsylvania this weekend to Poppa's hometown in Easton, PA. We stayed at the best house ever - with the Schuyler's! They have so many toys! And then we got to see Auntie Susie and Uncle Ryan again. They haven't seen me since I was a little baby. They were so impressed that I'm a big girl now! Susie showed me how to crawl through the cool tunnel!
